Huntington Village Pediatrician Retires After 47 Years
He was known for having a silly sense of humor.
A Huntington Village pediatrician known for wearing silly hats has officially retired after serving the children in the Huntington community for 47 years.
Dr. Martin B. Cohen, of Huntington Village Pediatrics, was known for his assortment of hats and his tiny toys dangling from his stethoscope.
Cohen received his medical degree from New York Medical College and completed his Pediatric Residency training at Meadowbrook Hospital.

He has served on the Huntington Hospital Medical Board, has been an active member of the hospital staff for over 30 years and has served on multiple committees. Cohen has an interest in Special Education, which led him to sit on The Committee for Special Education in the Harborfields School District for 18 years.
When he’s not working, Cohen enjoys playing golf, listening to classical music and loves a good joke.
