Huntington Woman Killed in Crash

Authorities are investigating a motor vehicle crash that killed a woman in Huntington on Saturday afternoon.

The woman was driving a 1997 Lexus westbound on Central Street, west of Clinton Avenue, when she struck two parked, unoccupied vehicles at 4:31 p.m., police said.

The driver, who was identified as Tracymarie Verme, 44, of Huntington, was taken to Huntington Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The vehicle was impounded for safety checks.
