- Johnny Depp and Jeff Beck welcome a sold-out audience at The Paramount. The duo was promoting their Joint Album 18 and had the crowd rocking on Oct. 14 and Oct. 15. - New brick oven pizza join opens in Oyster Bay. Mama Mia's replaces Pietro's at 342 Lexington Ave. and the Oyster Bay-East Norwich Chamber of Commerce will officially welcome the new business today. "The owners, Alan and Stephanie Fortich, care deeply about the community in which they live and strive to serve only the best to their family and yours. They accomplish this by using the freshest local ingredients in all their pizza and entrees," an announcement from the chamber said.(Patch)
- Huntington Art Council's popular Nightmare on Main Street art exhibit returns. “Our Nightmare on Main Street student exhibit is now in its 11th year! This exhibit continues to be one of our most popular, both for the students and the overall community,” said HAC’s Executive Director Kieran Johnson. “The submissions spanned across Long Island with both public and private school students from 21 districts participating in the call. Congratulations to all of the students who submitted to this show.” (TBR News Media)
