Last Chance: Oheka Gatsby Garden Party

Nostalgic event celebrates Otto Kahn Award winners Wednesday.

We've seen hundreds of events come and go in the community, but how often does one pass you by that you wish you hadn't missed out on? That's where we come in.

Each week Huntington Patch will post a quick reminder about the events, activities or important tasks whose deadlines have come.

On Wednesday,  will stage their annual Garden Party celebrating The Otto Kahn Awards Program and debuting the new book ”Oheka Castle," by Ellen Schaffer and Joan Cergol.

A royal Gatsby-style affair will run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and feature the Walt Whitman High School Jazz Band and Chamber Orchestra, and performances by past and present Otto Kahn Award recipients.

Tickets are still available for the event. Advanced reservations are $55 for non-members and $45 for Oheka members. Tickets at the door are $75 for non-members. Admission price includes wine, hors d’oeuvres, light dinner, raffle prizes and dessert.
