LUPINACCI ATTENDS NEW TEACHER RECEPTION AT SOUTH HUNTINGTON HIGH SCHOOL

Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci (R,C,I-South Huntington) recently attended a New Teacher Reception and tour of the South Huntington Teacher Center, located within Walt Whitman High School. The teacher center offers students the opportunity to seek degrees in higher education offered by local universities, while also offering public school teachers mentoring programs. During the tour, Lupinacci spoke to both teachers and students about the usefulness of the programs offered by the South Huntington Teacher Center.

“The South Huntington Teacher Center is a tremendously valuable resource in the South Huntington area. It was a pleasure to tour the facilities, as well as meet the educators and students who are utilizing this Teacher Center in pursuit of their Master’s degrees. I would like to commend the center and all of the devoted administrators who make it so successful and such an important asset to education in the South Huntington community,” Lupinacci said.
