Lupinacci Celebrates Ramadan With Masjid Noor Mosque
Lupinacci recently visited Masjid Noor Mosque in Huntington to take part in the Islamic holiday of Eid al-Fitr.

Assemblyman Chad A. Lupinacci (R,C,I,Ref.—South Huntington) recently visited Masjid Noor Mosque in Huntington to take part in the Islamic holiday of Eid al-Fitr. Eid al-Fitr means "festival of breaking the fast" and marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan. Each year, Masjid Noor invites the community to participate in the feast as a celebration of the diversity and multi-culturalism of the Huntington area.
“I was thrilled to be invited by Masjid Noor to celebrate Eid Al-Fitr as they and members of the Islamic community around the globe celebrate this important religious holiday,” said Lupinacci. “Across the Town of Huntington and the Long Island area we have a long history of embracing the diversity of faith, ethnicity and background of all peoples, and it was inspiring to hear of the commitment Masjid Noor has made to the betterment and unity of our entire community. It was truly an honor to observe this holiday and I would like to thank Masjid Noor and each member of their congregation for welcoming me into their house of worship.”
Assemblyman Lupinacci represents the 10th District, which consists of parts of Suffolk County. For more information, please visit Assemblyman Lupinacci’s Official Website.
