Special Olympics at Walt Whitman High School
Assemblyman Chad A. Lupinacci (R, C, I – South Huntington) helped kick off the 44th Annual Special Olympics Spring Games South.
On Sunday, Assemblyman Chad A. Lupinacci (R, C, I – South Huntington) attended the 44th Annual Special Olympics Spring Games South.
“I now have the distinct honor and privilege, on behalf of the great state of New York, to declare the 2015 Spring Games officially open – Let the Games begin!” proclaimed Lupinacci at the conclusion of the Opening Ceremonies.
“The Special Olympics are a long-standing tradition on Long Island,” said Lupinacci. “I proudly support their cause, and I commend all of the ardent volunteers who make this day possible,” Lupinacci continued.

“Being a graduate of Walt Whitman High School, a former South Huntington School Board Member and a lifelong resident of Huntington, I am proud of the community for coordinating and participating in such an uplifting event. I am truly inspired by both the participants, and those who devote their time and energy to helping those with special needs,” concluded Lupinacci.
