LUPINACCI CONGRATULATES NEWEST SENATE MAJORITY LEADER

Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci (R,C,I-South Huntington) had encouraging words today for new Senate Majority Leader John Flanagan. A vote for a new majority leader was cast several days after former Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos was asked to step down from the position.

“The Senate made the right decision by voting Senator John Flanagan as the newest Majority Leader. Flanagan has a track record for getting things done in the Senate and working with lawmakers from both sides of the aisle. I’ve also worked with him on many occasions and seen firsthand how much pride he has for serving the people of New York State,” said Lupinacci. “I’m glad the recent distractions are behind us so we can get back on track and focus on passing legislation.”
