Lupinacci to Governor: New York Is Not a Tool For Leverage

“A budget should not be packed with highly controversial issues, and used as political leverage at the expense of New York State’s residents. Not only is this negotiation process fatally flawed, but simply ineffective at finding compromise. Governor Cuomo’s agenda should not be imposed upon the residents of our state by partnering major policy shifts with the expenditures of the government. This budgetary debacle is a stain on the New York State government’s reputation.”
