LUPINACCI HONORED BY PROGRAM THAT HELPS CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES
Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci (R,C,I- South Huntington) was recently honored by PeerPals.org

The Fox Hollow in Woodbury was recently packed with PeerPals.org participants and supporters to honor Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci (R,C,I- South Huntington) for his dedication to the local charity. PeerPals.org connects disabled children and typical developing children with one-on-one play dates to help prepare them for kindergarten.
“We are very fortunate to have an organization like PeerPals.org in our community; the hardworking volunteers provide a unique and valuable experience for our young children, who are entering school for the first time. PeerPals.org’s teachings of compassion, empathy and acceptance are values that all children should learn,” said Lupinacci. “I will continue to follow the organization’s success and work closely with its volunteers to ensure programs like this will always be available in our community.”
PeerPals.org was created over five years ago and has continued to thrive because of its dedicated volunteers and generous donors who support the cause. Their mission is to organize supervised independent play dates for disabled children with typical developing children. The program has helped countless youth create new friendships as they enter school for the first time.
