Lupinacci Joins FREE to Unveil Art Exhibit
Lupinacci joined artists from Family Residences and Essential Enterprises (FREE) for the unveiling of their art exhibit at his office today

Assemblyman Chad A. Lupinacci (R,C,I,Ref-South Huntington) joined artists from Family Residences and Essential Enterprises (FREE) for the unveiling of their art exhibit at his district office today. The display, titled "Revelations," is comprised of six award-winning paintings all completed by residents of FREE.
"I was honored to join these very impressive men and women for the unveiling of their exhibit at my district office today," said Lupinacci. "Art therapy is a proven method of allowing individuals to express their inner feelings on a variety of levels, and their exhibit lights up our office with its beauty. It’s inspiring to know that organizations like FREE have innovative programs that advance and improve the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities and, in turn, help them communicate their perspectives in their own unique way."
FREE provides housing and services to over 4,000 individuals and families and has used art therapy to encourage the self-expression of its residents. Director of Art Therapy Ed Regensburg has encouraged his students to share their feelings in the "hidden language of images, colors and symbols."
