Lupinacci: Lack of Budget Transparency 'Appalling'
Assemblyman Lupinacci offers update on 2017 Budget.

“After much delay, we now have several budget bills before the Assembly. Let me be clear, I am appalled at the lack of transparency throughout the entire budget process. The Assembly Majority has shamelessly ignored the concerns of millions of New Yorkers by cutting out the Minority party entirely from negotiations.
“After receiving a Message of Necessity from Governor Cuomo, and within hours passing an extender, which was 1,700 pages long, we have again hurried the legislative process and done a disservice to the people of our state. We all know haste makes waste – especially when it comes to our state’s $152 billion budget.”
