“All across America, children and teenagers alike are constantly bullied and it is time we stop writing off this pervasive behavior simply as a part of life,” said Lupinacci. “For too long children have been picked on for their differences and it’s resulted in irreparable damage on their self-confidence as well as their ability to have healthy relationships with others. It happens at school, out of school, and everywhere in between and as adults we can, and should, do more to end this habit. As parents, teachers, and community members, we need to teach our children to resist the mob mentality that sustains this harmful behavior and the importance in showing respect to everyone despite their differences.”
Assemblyman Lupinacci represents the 10th District, which consists of parts of Suffolk County. For more information, please visit Assemblyman Lupinacci’s Official Website.
