Assemblyman Chad A. Lupinacci (R,C,I-South Huntington) recently joined the South Huntington School District for a fundraiser at Barnes and Noble Bookstore of East Northport. Lupinacci, along with local community members, school district administrators, teachers, and elected officials, read to elementary school students while 20 percent of all items purchased throughout the evening was donated to the South Huntington School District.
“I was so pleased to join the South Huntington School District and Barnes and Noble Bookstore in this initiative, which was so clearly an incredible success. Developing a student’s interest in reading begins in their early years, and I applaud Barnes and Noble Bookstore and South Huntington Schools for this cooperative effort,” Lupinacci said.
