LUPINACCI RECOGNIZES MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS AWARENESS MONTH
Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci (R,C,I-South Huntington) presented a proclamation to the LI Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci (R,C,I-South Huntington) recently presented a proclamation declaring the month of March as “Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month” to the Long Island Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
“Between patients, families, friends and caregivers, multiple sclerosis impacts over 42,000 people on Long Island. We need to make people aware of ways to reduce the risk of MS and support research to find a cure for this terrible disease,” said Lupinacci.
The Long Island Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society is located in Melville and has been a leading voice in the movement to find a cure for MS. More information is available at www.nationalmssociety.org.
