Assemblyman Chad A. Lupinacci (R,C,I,Ref-South Huntington) recently welcomed a special visitor to Albany. Dylan Long, a student from Silas Wood Sixth Grade Center in the South Huntington School District, toured the Capitol with Lupinacci and was welcomed to the Assembly and Senate Legislative Chambers.
Long, who also serves as the President of Silas Wood Sixth Grade Center’s Student Government program, is very passionate about government and politics, and is planning to pursue a career in public service.
“Dylan was the most popular person in Albany today,” Lupinacci said. “It was so nice to welcome an impressive young man like Dylan to the Legislative Chamber and speak with him about his political aspirations and ideas to make our state a better place,” said Lupinacci.

“I would like to offer Dylan and his parents my best wishes for the rest of the school year. His interest in politics at such a young age is outstanding. If his enthusiasm is any indication of things to come, Dylan will be a great public servant someday,” concluded Lupinacci.
