Man Drove After 40 License Suspensions: Suffolk Police
A 21-year-old man was caught driving after his license had been suspended 40 times, police say.
HUNTINGTON STATION, NY—Hassan Nadeem, 21, of Huntington Station, was caught driving after his license had been suspended 40 times, Suffolk County police said on Thursday.
Two patrol officers, Joe Aqulina and Michael Petriello, noticed a 2015 Nissan Altima traveling eastbound on West Ninth Street near Third Avenue that had excessive tint on its windows around 5:45 p.m. They determined Nadeem had been driving with a license that had been suspended 40 times.
Nadeem was arrested and charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, and his car was impounded. He is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on June 14.
