Man Punched Woman In Head In Huntington Station: Police

The man slapped her on her butt before punching her in the head, police say.

HUNTINGTON STATION, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is seeking the public's help in finding the man who police said assaulted a woman in Huntington Station in July.

A woman was walking near the intersection of Fourth Avenue and West 12th Street when she
was approached by a man who slapped her butt and punched her in the head around 11:20 a.m. July 10, police said. The man then ran off, police said. He is wanted for assault.

Police ask anyone with information to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, using a mobile app which can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
