  1. A Huntington Station man was seriously injured on his bicycle in hit-and-run. The incident occurred early Wednesday morning on Route 110 near Hazel Lane, when the 27-year-old was hit from behind by a vehicle heading southbound. Police are investigating and we will keep you updated. (Huntington Now)

  3. Northport Hotel is set to open at the end of the year. The hotel is located at 225 Main St. and boasts 26 luxury guestrooms, an Italian steakhouse and more. Michael Lang was hired as the hotel's general manager. “As the Northport Hotel’s story continues to unfold, we looked for a seasoned hospitality executive who understood not just the industry but the philosophy behind the property and the experience that The Northport Hotel plans to provide its guests,” owner Kevin O’Neill stated.   4. Baby giraffe Savannah was a hit at White Post Farms. The giraffe has drawn crowds from all over to see her. Savannah is the first baby giraffe born on Long Island. You can head to the farm and look for the Giraffe Experience. Check out a video in the link. (FOX 5 New York)

  • Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce: The Fall Festival is this weekend, and the Town of Huntington's website is up and running with the vendors who will be participating.
