Man Shot in Huntington Station Parking Lot

An unknown person fired two shots at the man's vehicle early Saturday, police say.

HUNTINGTON STATION, NY- A man sitting in his car in a Huntington Station parking lot was shot early Saturday by an unknown gunman, police say.

According to authorities, Francisco Palma, 39, of Farmingdale, was sitting in a vehicle in the rear parking lot of Melissa Restaurant, located at 1419 New York Ave., at 1 a.m. when two gunshots were fired at his vehicle.

Palma was struck in his left arm, police say.

He was transported to Huntington Hospital by Huntington Community First Aid Squad with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call the Second Squad at 631-854-8252, or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
