  3. New Italian restaurant Carpaccio receiving high praise from customers online. The eatery is located at 160 Walt Whitman Rd. and specializes in authentic Italian cuisine. "We proudly offer the freshest carpaccio and ceviche, meatballs in our traditional Italian recipe, and thoughtfully crafted Artisanal pizzas," the owners said.   • Huntington Union Free School District: Huntington High School's Habitat for Humanity club will be traveling down to New Orleans during February break. They will help build much needed housing in the city, which has still not yet fully recovered from Hurricane Katrina. (Huntington Union Free School District via Facebook)
  • Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce: "We had such a great time last week celebrating the Grand Opening of Orthopaedic Associates of Manhasset in Huntington!
