Pedestrian Killed In Suffolk Car Crash: Police
The pedestrian was in the road when they were struck by the car, police say.
HUNTINGTON STATION, NY — A pedestrian was killed in a car crash in Huntington Station on Thursday night, Suffolk police said.
A 22-year-old Huntington Station man was driving a 2010 Honda Civic southbound on New York Avenue, just south of Church Street, when he struck a pedestrian in the roadway around 9:35 p.m., police said.
The pedestrian, who has not yet been identified by police, was pronounced dead at Huntington Hospital.

The driver and a woman, who was a passenger in the car, were not injured, police said. The Civic was impounded for a safety check.
Detectives are asking anyone with information on the crash to call the Second Squad at 631-854-8252.
