Pedestrian Seriously Injured In Suffolk Crash: Police
The pedestrian was crossing the street when he was hit, police say.
HUNTINGTON STATION, NY —A pedestrian was seriously injured in Huntington Station on Friday evening, Suffolk police said.
A 58-year-old Huntington woman was driving a 2017 Chevrolet sedan southbound on New York Avenue, near Depot Road, when she hit a man who was crossing the street, around 7:25 p.m., police said.
The pedestrian was transported to Huntington Hospital to be treated for serious injuries, police said. The driver was not injured, police said.

Police withheld the name of the pedestrian while his family is notified.
The sedan was impounded for a safety check. Police asked that anyone with information about the crash call the Second Squad detectives at 631-854-8252.
