Person Fatally Struck By Train In Greenlawn
BREAKING: Normal train service resumed, but MTA police are investigating the death.
GREENLAWN, NY — A person was killed by a Long Island Railroad train in Greenlawn early Tuesday, an MTA spokesperson told Patch.
A person was struck by an eastbound train at the Cuba Hill Road Railroad crossing near Huntington around 1:20 a.m., the spokesperson said. MTA police are investigating the death.
Normal train service was restored around 3:30 a.m.
