Photos: Centerport Attends Memorial Day Parade

The Centerport Fire Department’s annual Memorial Day Parade and Service brought in a large crowd this year.

The parade was led by the Harborfields Schools marching bands, scouts from local troops as well as firefighters and shiny fire apparatus.

The ex-Chiefs led a flag-raising ceremony at the Park Circle Monument after the parade. Sergeant Robert Ferri, a U.S. Army veteran who served in Vietnam, was this year’s guest speaker.

Ladies Auxiliary offered baked goods and the Centerport Cadets provided the refreshments for the Memorial Day celebration.
