Police: Brookhaven Man Punches, Robs Another Man in Huntington

A Brookhaven man is charged with second degree robbery following an incident in Huntington last Friday morning, police said.

Police said Nicholas Kohler, 26, punched a man and stole the man’s cell phone at West Carver Street and New Street at 11 a.m. Friday.

Kohler and the victim were were prior acquaintances, police said.

Kohler was arraigned on Saturday and is being held on $35,000 cash bail or $70,000 bond.
