Suffolk police found Maggie Rosales stabbed to death on Lynch Street in Huntington Station on Oct. 12.
Authorities say they have DNA evidence from the murder scene, and part of the incident was caught on surveillance video.

Yet John LoTurco, Saalfied’s attorney, said his client’s face is not revealed in the video, and the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office has not turned over any DNA evidence, Newsday reported.
And there is the question of motive. LoTurco says Maggie Rosales’ ex-boyfriend, a gang member, may have committed the murder, according to CBS New York
“He had motive to commit this crime in that she recently broke up with him. He was seeking revenge for that breakup,” LoTurco told Hall. “Which is in contrast to Adam, who has no motive to commit this crime.”
Rosales, who had been attacked from behind, was wearing ear buds while listening to music, and had not heard her attacker approaching, officials said.
Rosales and Saalfied did not know each other previously, according to authorities.
