Police Log: Boat Stolen From West Shore Marina, Home Burglaries
Here are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area, according to Suffolk County Police.
Saturday, Aug. 6
At 8 a.m., police reported a burglary in which someone entered a garage connected to a Weston Street home in South Huntington and stole boxes of sentimental items.

At 7:20 a.m., police reported a burglary at a Maryland Street home in Dix Hills where someone entered the residence through an unlocked back door and stole a laptop, wallet, checkbook and credit cards.
