The Schlitt Law Firm Names Nicole T. Peterson as a Legal Analyst
The Schlitt Law Firm of Huntington, New York has appointed Nicole T. Peterson as a Legal Analyst
The Schlitt Law Firm has announced the hiring of Nicole T. Peterson as one of the firm’s Legal Analysts. In this capacity, Ms. Peterson will help the firm develop, analyze, and prosecute personal injury and medical malpractice cases. Carol L. Schlitt, the founding partner of the Schlitt Law Firm, said, “We are thrilled to have Nicole join our firm and become a part of our team. She is dynamic and insightful young woman who is keen to learn and will make a valuable contribution to the work we do for our clients.”
Ms. Peterson said, “I am excited to join a firm that is so focused on clients and helping people. Since I am considering pursing a legal career, I want to learn by doing and the Schlitt Law Firm enables me to do that.”
Ms. Peterson is 2014 graduate of Brown University where she earned a B.S. in Biology, with a focus in immunobiology. Ms. Peterson said, “I enjoyed my time in the laboratory, though I want to look elsewhere for a career. I find my analytic skills fit well with the law.” Ms. Peterson interned at Chace Ruttenberg & Freedman, LLP in Providence, Rhode Island. While at Brown, Ms. Peterson was a dedicated sister and officer in the Alpha Chi Omega sorority, and worked in the Brossay Laboratory at Brown studying the innate immune system. A native of Southern California, Ms. Peterson enjoyed her time as a 4-H member and Avian Bowl competitor. She has relocated to Huntington Village.

Carol L. Schlitt explains that Ms. Peterson’s role as a Legal Analyst is vital to the development of cases and the firm’s ability to deliver remarkable services. “Our legal analysts contribute to all aspects of case development: from screening potential cases to development, settlement and prosecution at trial. Nicole will work closely with other members of our team to analyze and develop our cases, prepare legal documents and correspondence, and, most importantly, help deliver remarkable service to our clients.”
The Schlitt Law Firm conducted a national search to fill this position.
