Duo Stole $2,600 In Long Island 'Sleight Of Hand Money Scam': PD

HUNTINGTON, NY — Police are searching for the duo who used a "sleight of hand money scam" to steal $2,600 from a cashier at a Huntington store in June, authorities said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police second squad detectives said a man and woman used the scam to confuse the cashier with the exchange of money while buying two Burberry handbags and a pair of Chanel sunglasses.
