Seminar: Preventing and Treating Common Foot and Ankle Injuries

This seminar will take place on November 10.

With the amount of time we spend on our feet, it’s no wonder they can be prone to injury. To help educate the community, Northwell Health’s Orthopaedic Institute will offer a free seminar about preventing and treating common foot and ankle injuries on Thursday, November 10, 2016, 7-8:30 p.m. at Huntington Hospital, Gilles Conference Room, 270 Park Avenue, Huntington, NY 11743.

Adam Bitterman, DO, a Northwell Health orthopaedic surgeon and foot and ankle specialist, will present “Preventing and Treating Common Foot and Ankle Injuries.” Dr. Bitterman’s program is geared for adults with active lifestyles or those with ankle arthritis. He will cover:

  • Common foot and ankle injuries from weekend warriors to athletes
  • Diagnosis and treatment of ankle arthritis
  • Prevention and treatment options for foot and ankle pain
  • Surgical and nonsurgical procedures of the foot and ankle

Snacks and light refreshments will be served.
