Serial Huntington Station Equipment Thief Arrested: Police
A generator, circular saws, nail guns, leaf blowers, a wheelbarrow and landscaping equipment were among his loot, police say.
HUNTINGTON, NY — A man who stole landscaping equipment and tools across several places in Huntington Station over the course of the year was arrested on Saturday, Suffolk police said.
Juan Fransico, 40, of Huntington Station, stole landscaping equipment and tools after breaking padlocks on trailers at a First Avenue home between Feb. 11 and Feb. 12, police said.
On March 13, he stole a portable generator and tools used in epoxy flooring from a Huntington Station home, police said.

Fransico stole landscaping equipment and tools from a commercial property on First Avenue in Huntington Station on April 5, police said.
On Aug. 24, Fransico went into a home's fenced-in yard, broke into two sheds and swiped circular saws, nail guns and other tools, police said.

Fransico on Oct. 5 entered a commercial property on West 11th Street in Huntington Station, broke a shed's padlocks and nabbed landscaping equipment and tools, police said.
On Saturday, Fransico destroyed the padlocks of a trailer in a yard on Broadway in Huntington Station and swiped two leaf blowers and a yellow wheelbarrow, police said.
Fransico was charged with four counts of fourth-degree grand larceny, one count of third-degree criminal mischief, one count of fourth-degree criminal mischief, two counts of third-degree criminal trespass, one count of petty larceny, and one count of criminal mischief.
