South Huntington 2022-23 School Budget Passes

SOUTH HUNTINGTON, NY — Residents within the boundaries of the South Huntington School District on Tuesday voted to pass the 2022-23 school budget by a margin of 907 votes to 327.

The district's budget is $195,504,039, up 5.7 percent from last year's. The tax levy is $121,832,088, up 0 percent.

School Board Results

Nicholas R. Ciappetta.: 916 votes (3-year term).
William J. Biangasso: 722 votes (3-year term).
Frederick Scragg: 675 votes (2-year term, replacing Edward Nitkewicz, who resigned early).
