SOUTH HUNTINGTON, NY — Dr. Vito M. D'Elia was sworn in as the superintendent of the South Huntington Union Free School District on July 7, as were three newly-elected board members, the school district announced.

Linda LaCara, Erin Meijer and Edward J. Nitkewicz ran unopposed for the school board.
