Spring Into Walt Whitman Shops During Kids Expo

HUNTINGTON STATION, NY, MARCH 27, 2014 – Walt Whitman Shops will host its first ever Spring into the Mall kids expo, a daylong event featuring Long Island’s best kid-friendly resources and essentials.  Taking place on Saturday, April 5 from 12 to 6 p.m., the expo will present parents with a wealth of information from exhibitors, all with a focus on children’s services, products, and more.

“We are pleased to host an event that helps parents seek out resources to benefit their children and families,” said Kathleen Herrmann, director of marketing and business development for Walt Whitman Shops. “From health and wellness to developmental services and even vacation planning, expert advice and guidance will be dispensed during the Spring into the Mall kids expo.”

The exhibitors who will be on-site at Walt Whitman Shops include Village East Gifted (enrichment center for the gifted learner), DeLiceful (lice removal and prevention), Suffolk Speech (speech rehab and myofunctional therapy), All Kids Fair (upcoming expo for kids and families), North Shore Eye Care (ophthalmology practice), Silverleaf Resorts (family vacation packages), Achieve Beyond (pediatric therapy and autism services), Home Food Service (delicious frozen food delivered to your home), Pediatric Dentistry of Suffolk County, BabysittingBarter.com (connecting parents, sitters, and businesses), Huntington YMCA and more. And, Legal Sea Foods will be on-hand with sampling of its famous clam chowder.
