New Parks Program to Help Report Illegal Activities in Suffolk Parks

Suffolk County announced a new program Monday to help safeguard our parks from vandalism and dumping of hazardous waste or trash. The park system has added a special phone number-- 631-854-1423--so that patrons can let the department know about unsafe or other illicit activities.

The number is part of the new RID--Report Illegal Dumping--program. Criminal activity should be reported directly to 911.
