Teen Stabbed After Altercation With Trio: SCPD

The 16-year-old was hospitalized after he was stabbed in the buttocks during a fight with three other teens on Sunday night, police say.

HUNTINGTON STATION, NY - A Huntington Station teen was stabbed after a physical altercation with a trio on Sunday night, according to Suffolk Police.

The 16-year-old male was walking on Depot Road at 1st Avenue when he was confronted by three teens on bicycles at 10:40 p.m.

The teen ran south on 1st Avenue and became involved in a physical altercation with the three males in front of 31 1st Avenue.

During the altercation, the teen was stabbed in the right buttocks area. The trio fled in an unknown direction.

They assailants were about 17-years-old and one of them was wearing a dark colored hat.

The victim was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, police said.

The investigation is continuing. No arrests have been made.
