The Class of 2010 Graduates

Commencement took place Friday at Huntington High School.

The weather cooperated and thousands attended Huntington High School's 149th commencement Friday, held at 6 p.m. in Blue Devil Stadium under cloudless skies.

The ceremony included traditional addresses by valedictorian Rebecca Silverman, and salutatorian Alanna Tieman along with Principal Carmela Leonardi, Superintendent John J. Finello and Huntington School Board President Bill Dwyer.

An orchestra consisting of underclassmen under the direction of teacher Lisa Leonardi performed Pomp and Circumstance among other recessional selections.

The Class of 2010 announced its gift to the high school is a new sign for the security booth.
