The Schlitt Law Firm Hosted Fundraiser for Project T.O.Y.

Huntington, NY: On December 5, The Schlitt Law Firm held a fundraiser for Project T.O.Y., a holiday charity program sponsored by the Tri-Community and Youth Agency (Tri-CYA) and the Family Service League of Long Island. The party, held in the offices of the Schlitt Law Firm, collected toys and donations and was capped off when Carol L. Schlitt, presented Debbie Rimler, the Director of the Tri-CYA with a $500 check for Project T.O.Y.

This very special Toy Drive gives parents who are struggling financially the opportunity to choose two new unwrapped gifts for each of their children (up to age 13). Parents are invited to select gifts at no cost to them and given the pleasure of presenting gifts to their children. Carol Schlitt said, “This is such a great cause; we love having the opportunity to support Project T.O.Y.” Debbie Rimler explained that thousands of families benefit from the program and the success depends upon the generosity of Huntington residents and business like the Schlitt Law Firm.

Attendees to the Open House Fundraiser were asked to bring an unwrapped toy. They were entertained by holiday jazz music and tasted food including appetizers provided by Rookies Sports Bar. The festive event was attended by clients, friends, local business leaders and Family Service League Board Member Jon Cooper and Tri-CYA Board Member Mark Cronin, who is also the Director of Client Services at the Schlitt Law Firm.
