Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident on Jericho Turnpike Thursday in Huntington.
The collision between a Nissan sedan and a Mercury sedan occurred just after 11:30 a.m. near the intersection of Broadway. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
Police at the scene said the impact from the collision sent one car careening through a hedge and into the parking lot of a nearby Stop and Shop store at 1100 E. Jericho Turnpike.
