- ShopRite opens in Huntington. The long-awaited ShopRite opened on Sunday to welcoming crowds and happy customers. The 65,000-square-foot store was supposed to open at 7 a.m. but opened earlier due to customers arriving before the scheduled time. Click the link to see photos from the big day. (Huntington Now)
- Town of Huntington holds 2nd annual Polar Plunge at Crab Meadow Beach. The Polar Plunge benefits the Special Olympics and hundreds of brave souls battled the cold water for a good cause. Check out a video recap in the link. (WABC-TV)
