Town of Huntington Honors 27 Workers for Longtime Service
These workers have been employed by the Town for three decades.

Twenty-seven workers who have been employed by the Town of Huntington for 30 years were recently recognized for their longtime service and dedication at a luncheon on Friday, Sept. 30.
The workers that were honored were from 14 Town departments.
The Highway Department had seven employees recognized, which was the most out of any department.

Close behind was the Environmental and General Services departments with six and four employees recognized, respectively.
One employee was recognized from each of the following departments: Assessor, Community Development, Dix Hills Water, Engineering, HART Bus, Information Technology, Maritime, Personnel, Planning and Public Safety.

Supervisor Frank P. Petrone, Town Council Members Mark Cuthbertson and Tracey A. Edwards as well as Town Clerk Jo-Ann Raia each thanked the employees for their dedication to the Town and its residents.
The employees received a proclamation from that was signed by the Town Board members.
