  1. Financial advisor admits to $3M bank loan scheme in East Northport. Gary Confredo, age 60, of East Northport, pleaded guilty on Friday in Central Islip federal court. "Prosecutors said Confredo, also known as Gary Conte, conspired with others to submit fraudulent applications for commercial loans and lines of credit to Bank of America on behalf of his clients at the Commack-based Goldstar Financial Management Corp." He could spend decades in federal prison. (Daily Voice)
  2. Cazzio's Pizza and Pasta serves 40 different styles of pies. The East Northport pizza joint opened on Oct. 28 and is owned by 24-year-old John Parini. Learn about Parini's journey and see photos of all the different pies in the link. (Greater Long Island)
  3. Town of Huntington to host Veterans Day Ceremony. The ceremony will take place at Veterans Plaza on the front lawn of Huntington Town Hall, at 100 Main St., Huntington. It will honor veterans of the Town of Huntington and across our nation. "The Huntington Men’s Chorus will perform patriotic music, and refreshments will be served following the ceremony, which will take place amid the American flag display known as the “Field of Honor” organized by the Kiwanis Club of Huntington."
