Voter's Guide: Cold Spring Harbor School Budget, Board Election
What you need to know for election day.

Cold Spring Harbor residents will vote on the school district’s $64,985,279 proposed budget for the 2016-17 school year on Tuesday, May 17.
The proposal calls for a 1.55 percent increase in spending over the current year and carries a 0.85 percent tax levy increase, which is within the state’s tax cap.

Three candidates are running for two trustee seats on the CSH Board of Education. Candidates include:
- George Schwertl
- Amelia Walsh Brogan
- Lizabeth S. Squicciarini
Residents can vote at the Ralph Whitney Field House at the Jr/Sr High, located at 82 Turkey Lane. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
