Suffolk High School Threatened In Snapchat Post: Police
Detectives believe a person from England made threats of violence against the South Huntington high school, police say.

HUNTINGTON STATION, NY — A student of Walt Whitman High School, and the school itself, were threatened on Monday, Suffolk police said.
A student of the South Huntington school was messaging people on Snapchat, and one of the people made threats against the student and the school, police said. Investigators believe the person who made the threats lives in England, police said. Police are investigating.
Suffolk police were patroling Walt Whitman High School on Tuesday, Newsday reported. Police believe the person who made the threats is a teenager, according to Newsday.
