WHEN COMBATTING HEROIN, UNITY IS THE ONLY OPTION

(L-R) Lupinacci stands with Patty Farrell, mother of Laree, at today's heroin press conference.

“Today, my Assembly Minority colleagues and I joined together to, once again, advocate for legislative action to address heroin epidemic throughout the state of New York. In January the Assembly Republican Conference released the findings of our statewide task force and offered real solutions to help those who have become addicted and prevent future addiction.

“The heroin epidemic is not a Republican or Democrat issue as addiction does not discriminate. We must come together to combat this epidemic for the sake of our children, families and community’s future. I urge the Assembly Majority to consider the recent studies, and hear the cries of so many of our constituents to act now before this terrible disease takes another life. This issue is one of grave necessity and cannot be ignored any longer.”
