- Suffolk Police Inspector William Scrima to leave command of the Second Precinct in Huntington and transfer to headquarters. He has been commander of the Second Precinct since 2018 and was respected in the community. Community activist Jim McGoldrick said, “He’s very gouged police inspector–he listened to the community, and he was good for us. He will be missed.” (Huntington Now)

- 'Things Remembered' closing all Long Island stores. The closures started in November when the store closed its Walt Whitman location, and now all stores will be closed permanently. Things Remembered was a staple of Long Island malls, and the store has also shut down its website. (News 12 New Jersey)
