World War II Weekend briefing at Stop & Shop – Kevin Foster of Huntington is briefed by Jeff Ehrlich on World War II Encampment Weekend coming up on Saturday, May 20th and Sunday May 21nd, between 10:00a.m. and 4:00 p.m.,
inside Old Bethpage Village Restoration, 1303 Round Swamp Road, Old Bethpage, which is being supported by Stop & Shop supermarkets. Operational tanks, halftracks, armored cars and artillery will be presented in field exercises by living historians that recall an era when our very freedoms were at risk followed by a tribute program to all G.I.’s who have defended our freedoms

Admission is $12 for adults, $8 for children (5-12), seniors (60+) handicapped, volunteer firefighters (firefighters need to show ID).
