• Maverick Concerts hosts open house on Saturday (dailyfreeman.com) — Maverick Concerts in West Hurley is throwing a free open house this Saturday, June 6, to kick off its 2026 summer season and show off major hall renovations. You can check out the restored concert space, enjoy live music from local groups, watch an art demo, visit a petting zoo, and grab free ice cream alongside other food options. 
• Catskill Mountain Railroad offers summer rides beginning Saturday (dailyfreeman.com) — Starting this Saturday, you can ride Catskill Mountain Railroad trains from Kingston that roll through Hurley Flats and up Hurley Mountain, showcasing local scenery. Summer Catskill Flyer, Ice Cream Express, and special Twilight Limited trips run on set dates through September, with tiered ticket prices and free rides for kids under two on an adult’s lap.
