• Man Who Threatened Hyde Park Rector Over LGBTQ+ Acceptance Gets Years In Prison (UPDATE) (dailyvoice.com) — A Hyde Park resident has been sentenced to state prison after repeatedly violating a protection order involving the rector of St. James Episcopal Church in town, in a case tied to the church’s LGBTQ+ acceptance. Prosecutors say his threatening emails and conduct in late 2024 led a Dutchess County jury to convict him of contempt and stalking as a hate crime, following an investigation by Hyde Park Police.
